Common Faults
Fault
Coffee is spilling out
from the gap of the
funnel.
Coffee handle cannot be
pushed into the lock
position.
Coffee is cold.
Water pump is too noisy. The water tank has low or no water.
Coffee color is too light.
Coffee color is too dark.
Cannot froth milk (can
make coffee as normal).

Possible Cause
There is debris inside the seal ring.
The coffee grounds are too fine.
The coffee grounds have been pressed too
tightly.
The seal ring is wearing out.
There are coffee grounds at the top of the
filter cup.
The amount of coffee grounds in the funnel
has exceeded max.
No coffee has been added to the funnel,
and the handle cannot be pushed to the
lock position.
The indicator light is not on.
The coffee machine was not preheated.
The coffee cup was not preheated.
The water tank is mounted the wrong way.
Coffee grounds are not pressed flat enough.
Not enough coffee grounds.
Coffee grounds are too coarse.
Coffee grounds are pressed too tight.
Too many coffee grounds.
The filter is clogged.
Coffee grounds are too fine.
Water outlet is clogged.
Steam outlet is clogged.
Solution
Clean the debris from inside the seal ring.
Replace coffee grounds with a relatively
coarser ground.
Replace the coffee grounds and press
again, with about 8 pounds (3.6kg) of
strength.

Clean the top of filter cup before putting it
into the machine.
Decrease the amount of the coffee powder.

Operate the machine only when the
indicator light is on.
Preheat the coffee machine.
Preheat the coffee cup.
Add water to the water tank.
Remove the water tank and re-mount it the
right way.
Press the coffee grounds again, this time
using a bit more strength.
Add coffee grounds and re-press.
Remove the grounds and replace with
coffee that has been ground for espresso.
Replace the coffee grounds and press
again, this time using a bit less strength.
Remove some grounds.
Clean the filter cup.
Remove the grounds and replace with
coffee that has been ground for espresso.
Clean the water outlet.
Use a paper clip to clear the steam outlet.
Add a small amount of vinegar to the water
tank and run the steamer to clear the steam
outlet.
