Indicator Lights and Their Meaning

Description & Meaning
All three indicator lights turn on in turn.
The machine is performing a self-check.
Wait until it is done.
The single cup and double cup indicator
lights flash. This indicates the machine is
preheating. Wait until it's finished to
proceed.
The single cup and double cup indicator
lights are on solidly (no flashing). The
machine is ready to make coffee;
proceed.
The steam indicator lights flash. This
indicates the machine is preheating. Wait
until it's finished to proceed.
The steam indicator lights are on solidly
(no flashing). The machine is ready to
produce steam; proceed.
The single cup and double cup indicator
lights flash. Turn the steam knob to the
OFF position.
The single cup and double cup indicator
lights flash. Turn off the machine and let
the boiler cool down.
All three indicator lights are on
simultaneously, but not flashing. Perform
descaling maintenance (see
