Operation Inspection
Periodically check the pilot and main burner flames to ensure correct operation . Correct pilot flame pattern has two
strong blue flames: one flowing around the flame sensor and one flowing across the burner (it does not have to be
touching the burner) .
Correct main burner flame pattern
Incorrect flame pattern will have small, probably yellow flames, not coming into proper contact with the rear burner
or flame sensor . Incorrect operation may also result in soot or carbon build-up .
