Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device

Do not iron over zips, studs, clips etc. to prevent any scratching of the steam bottom.
■
Never use in front of surfaces made from glass or plastic.
■
Never cover up the steam nozzles and do not insert any objects into them.
■
Only activate the steam release button when the water reservoir is fi lled with water as
otherwise the water pump may be damaged and the useful service life of the device
may be shortened.
■
Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, extreme temperatures, persistent mois-
ture, wet conditions and collisions.
■
Always test the device fi rst on a small, inconspicuous spot on the clothing.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These can
damage the surface. Do not use any metal objects to remove dirt from the steam
bottom.
■
Never pour any descaling or cleaning agent or other chemical additives into the de-
vice. This may destroy the device and safe working is no longer guaranteed.

The brush attachment (6) is suitable for freshening up home textiles such as uphol-
stery, curtains etc.

With the crease attachment (7) you can iron creases (e. g. into trousers and skirts).
Also it is suitable for smoothing clothing (e.g. made from linen, cotton, polyester and
silk).
