It is a mandatory:

to install the hair-handling unit at least at 1,80 m from the floor;
•
to use water or a mixture of water and propylene or ethylene glycol to feed the heat exchanger.
Maximum glycol content 50%.

Units size 060 and 070 can be used only with external static pressure >30 Pa
(060) or >50 Pa (070);

Installation sites to avoid:
•
moist rooms or places where the unit may get in contact with water sprays (laundries,

bathrooms, etc.);
•
areas exposed to direct sunshine or too close to heating sources (lamps etc.);
•
rooms where the following substances might be present: flammable gas, alkaline material
or oil vapours;

•
positions where the air intake or air outlet might be obstructed (by shelving, furniture etc.);
•
in areas with risks of explosion or with severely dusty air.

The installation of the unit must assure:
•
safe use and working: the unit has not to cause any damage or danger to persons, objects
or animals;

•
a regular air circulation in the room;
•
the air intake and outlet are not obstructed in any way;

•
the respect of the minimum space necessary for installation and maintenance operations in
safety conditions (See Encl. 2/A);

•
the accessibility for the periodic cleaning of the air filter;
•
the absence of conditions that can produce and transmit vibrations and/or noises;
•
a correct water discharge of the condensing water coming out of the unit.

Before proceeding with any operation of installa-

tion and/or maintenance, make sure that the unit
has been disconnected from the power supply.

6.2 REMOVING THE PACKING
It is advisable to keep the unit in the carton box prior to installation. Transport the unit to the
nearest place where it has to be installed, cut the bands that wrap the carton to the pallet and
lift the box. Take out the fixing support (Fig. 3-point 3) and the accessories box (Fig. 3-point 4).
