8. If necessary, adjust the length of the outrigger (11.2).
The outrigger of the drawbar is adjustable.
If the coupling of the towing vehicle is too high or if a
large range of motion is required before the drawbar, pull
out the outrigger (11.2) and lock and secure with the bolt.
6.6 operating the direction locking device
Type 4336.16
Set the direction locking device (4) on the towing end
such that the roller pair is able to rotate freely.
(Exception: tracking –> chap. 7.4)
If this roller pair is not freely rotatable, there will be extre-
mely heavy wear to the roller covering during cornering.
Do not lock the rear rollers in the driving direction using
the direction locking device (4).
(Exception: tracking –> chap. 7.4)
Failure to observe this information can result in uncon-
trolled handling characteristics from the container.

1. Release the direction locking device (4). To do so, remove
the linchpin, pull out the bolt approx. 20 mm and secure
again with the linchpin. Wheel unit is unlocked and can be
rotated 360 °.

2. To lock rotation of the roller, carry out the procedure in the
opposite order.
