6.3 installing the fastening element
Before installing the roller set, remove any grease and
dirt from the bottom ISO corner fittings.
1. When using the container roller set type 4336.16, the
container has to be raised to a height of approx. 465 mm and
type 4336.24 to approx. 620 mm.
Therefore haacon levelling jacks
for type 4336.16 –> type 2724.25, O/No. 230617
for type 4336.24 –> type 2724.24, O/No. 233458
are suggested.
– Make sure to observe the safety instructions!
– Before the first lifting operation, check the load-
bearing capacity of the lifting equipment, and that
it is firmly attached to the container.
– Any lifting equipment mounted on the container as
well as container roller set and load to be observed
during all movements.
The levelling jacks are no longer shown in the following
steps, in order to make the diagrams clearer.
2. Connect 4 fastening elements (2) to the container.

3. Rotate the locking screw (2.1) of the fastening element such
that the fitting is in a lengthways orientation.

4. Fully insert the fastening element (2) into the lower opening
on the ISO corner fitting.
5. Rotate the locking screw (2.1) by 90°; this causes the fitting
to catch the ISO corner fitting.
6. Tighten the locking screw (2.1) with the socket wrench
attached to the steering rod (1).
Once installation is successfully completed, replace the
socket wrench on the steering rod.
