special dangers, these instructions are marked with the
warning symbol shown here.
Handling advice
This advice will help to ensure the failure-free operation
of the device.
Specified normal operation
The container roller set may only be used for moving containers
or other products with ISO corner fittings (ISO 1161) on a firm
and level surface. It may only be used as an entire system (4
rollers and 1 container).
– Appropriate mounting on containers according to ISO 668 with
corner fittings according to ISO 1161.
At a variant connection consider the drawing in the annex!
– Operate the equipment in accordance with the information in
these operating instructions.
– Only use for the purpose for which it is designed. (–> ‚General').
– Only use for moving containers or other products with ISO
corner fittings (ISO 1161).
– Only use when in perfect working order.
– Only allow to be operated by instructed personnel.
– The towing vehicle must fulfil the technical requirements
for towing a trailer.

Safety-conscious work
– First read the operating instructions.
– Always be conscious of safety and hazards when working.
– Any lifting equipment mounted on the container as well as con-
tainer roller set and load to be observed during all movements.
– Immediately report any damage or defects to the person in charge.
– Repair equipment first before continuing work!
– Transport device protected against impacts and shocks,
falling over or toppling.
– Wear protective equipment (e.g. protective gloves, safety
shoes, etc.)
– Pay attention to crushing and shear points!
– Only use the equipment on a substrate with sufficient load-
bearing capacity.
– Only use in a clean state (free of ice, snow, dirt, etc.)
– To move to a different location, use only a suitable towing
vehicle. Only use the supplied towbar.
The following are not allowed:
– Overload (–> technical data, type plate, payload plate)
– Impacts, blows.
– Difference in load distribution on the rollers > 10%.
– Use when the road surface is icy and muddy.
– carriage persons.
– Staying in or on the (lifted) load.
Exception: All four parking brakes of the wheel units must
be applied and there must be an additional locking device to
prevent the container from rolling away (e.g. a wheel chock).
– Unauthorised persons within a 5m radius around the device
while transport is in progress.
– Use in areas where the German road traffic licensing
regulations (StVZO) are applicable.
– Use of the device without obtaining certification under the
German Equipment and Product Safety Law (GPSG) and
Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV).
Use exclusions
– Not suitable for permanent operation and vibration stress.
– Not approved for use in explosives areas / environments.
– Not suitable for aggressive environments.
– Not suitable for operation on the public highway.
– Not suitable for containers which do not have ISO corner
fittings (ISO 1161).
Organisational measures
– Ensure that these operating instructions are always at hand.
– Ensure that only suitably qualified and authorised personnel is
allowed to operate, sevice aund repair the lifting device.
– Ensure that this personnel is instructed at regular intervals in
all matters of industrial safety and environmental protection
and that they are familiarwith the operating manual and the
safety instructions contained there in.
– Ensure that all safety and warning notices on the lifting device
remain on the device and are kept in legible condition.
– Check regulary the fully functional.
– Check at regular intervals whether it is being used in safety
and hazard conscious manner.
– Store clean, dry and protected.
– Use only under normal lighting conditions!
