6.1 safety instructions
– First read the operating instructions.
– Mounting only by specialist personnel!
– Unauthorised persons are not permitted within a
5 m radius around the device while transport is in
progress.
– Installation must be carried out by 2 people.
– Observe the safety instructions, chap. 2.
– Before attaching, check that the container is suitable
for this purpose.
– Always move the parts of the roller set slowly,
and wherever possible consecutively.
– Pay attention to crushing and shear points.
– Wherever possible, make preparations for each step
in advance, so that you only need to stand under
the container for a short time.
– When moving the roller, make sure that it does not
tip over. Move the roller slowly and pay attention
to obstacles and unevenness of the ground.
– Secure all connecting elements with the connectors
provided.
– Once installation is complete, and before each
transport operation, check all rollers and fastening
elements for the correct seating.
6.2 Moving, picking up and setting down the wheel unit
When picking up and setting down the wheel unit type 4336.16,
make sure that the safety bracket and the tube on the roller are
properly aligned. (–> fig. 6-3)

– The roller may only be moved, picked up and set down
using the steering rod.
– The direction locking device must be engaged in

order to do so (–> chap. 6.6)
– Set the roller down on the safety bracket.
– Always move the roller slowly, or there is a risk
of tipping.
– Never hold the roller by the safety bracket. Risk of
crushing!
