Installation
Fresh Air Inlets
CAUTION: Failure to include a fresh air inlet will result in poor flame performance and damage to the fireplace.
A fresh air inlet is required. The air inlet must allow for the air path to reach the underside of the unit. This will have to
be accounted for in the framing and drywall installation. See the table below for air inlet requirements for each model.
See Figure 3 for examples on incorporating fresh air inlets in the installation.
If the air inlet is concealed using a grille, the covered area must be compensated for by having a larger opening.

Preparing the Firebox for Installation
1. The unit is provided with mounting brackets attached
(Figure 4). Remove the mounting brackets before
installation. They will need to be reinstalled during
installation once the firebox is placed into the framing.
2. If using the plug accessory kit (OLFPLUG, sold
separately), wire it following the instructions for the
plug kit in the Electrical Installation section (page 14).
3. For permanent heat disable only: follow the
instructions for disconnecting the heat function in the
section Heater Hardware Disconnect (page 16).
