THE INFLATABLE LIFE JACKET SHOULD ALWAYS BE RE-ARMED ACCORDING TO THE
INSTRUCTIONS (SEE "RE-ARMING YOUR LIFE JACKET," PAGE 9).
DEFLATING YOUR LIFE JACKET
1) To deflate the life jacket, reverse the oral tube cap and insert it into
the valve or depress the valve with your fingertip. The cap will not
lock in the deflate position, so you need to hold it in place (Fig. 6).

2) Gently squeeze the life jacket until all air or gas has been
expelled. To avoid damage, do not wring or twist the life jacket.
Put the oral tube cap back in its stowed position on the oral
inflation tube (Fig. 2).
ENSURE ALL AIR HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE LIFE JACKET.
3) Examine the single point status indicator (Fig. 1). If the indicator
is red, the mechanism has been fired and the inflator requires
service (see "Re-arming Your Life Jacket," page 9).
THE SINGLE POINT STATUS INDICATOR MUST BE GREEN BEFORE PROCEEDING.
4) Your device is ready to be repacked (see repacking section, page 12).
