- Page 4 The S20 is design to be integrated with an inflatable PFD to be activated by the force of inflation. The S20 can be attached to the right side of the EP 38 Inflatable Vest, clipping onto the safety whistle attachment strap. The red cap on the S20 will be pulled off during inflation, releasing the antenna and activating the device.
- Page 5 FIGURE 2 • On the PFD, undo the Velcro™ tab on the wearer’s right side at the bottom, to expose the zipper. Undo the zipper by placing a finger underneath the zipper end and running it up, toward wearer’s face. Unfold the material to expose the whistle and light attachment tabs.

- Page 7 HOLD THE OFF BUTTON FOR AT LEAST 3 SECONDS. Integration of the McMurdo Smartfind S20 SRS with the Mustang Survival EP 38 Inflatable Ocean Racing Vest will not void the PFD’s approval. If you are not confident that you can attach the S20 to this PFD in accordance with these instructions, contact Mustang Survival customer service.
- Page 8 When the MOB1 is properly installed on an inflatable PFD, it is intended to automatically activate upon inflation. The MOB1 can be attached to the oral inflation tube on the left side of the EP 38 Inflatable Ocean Racing Vest. As the EP 38 inflates, the activation slide on the MOB1 is removed, releasing the antenna to send its first signal.

Le S20 est conçu pour être intégré à un VFI gonflable qui sera activé par la force du gonflage. Le S20 peut être attaché sur le côté droit de la veste gonflable EP 38, en l’accrochant à la courroie du sifflet de sécurité. Le capuchon rouge du S20 s’enlèvera lors du gonflage, libérant l’antenne et activant ainsi le dispositif. - Page 19 ILL. 2 • Sur le VFI, défaites la languette de VelcroMD du côté inférieur droit de l’utilisateur pour exposer la fermeture éclair. Défaites la fermeture en plaçant un doigt sous l’extrémité de la glissière et glissez-la vers le haut, vers le visage de l’utilisateur. Dépliez le tissu pour exposer le sifflet et la languette d’attache pour la lumière.

Le MOB1 peut être attaché au tube de gonflage buccal situé sur le côté gauche de la veste gonflable Ocean Racing EP 38.
