Deployment handle with inner container
The deployment handle and the four-fl ap inner container are fastened
together and the combination is designed so that the pull of the han-
dle acts equally over the whole width of the inner container. This min-
imises the risk of the container jamming in the reserve compartment,
or the reserve lines becoming caught up. The deployment handle to-
gether with the four-fl ap inner container provided are component
parts of the harness, and this arrangement conforms to the newest
certifi cation requirements of the LTF. Only the original deployment
handle with its four-fl ap inner container may be used.
The reserve parachute should be packed in a rectangular shape to
match the size of the inner container provided. The size of the in-
ner container can be altered by moving the position of the knots on
the two elastic bands. To install the reserve fi rst lay the reserve bridle
in the reserve compartment and fi nally place the inner container on
top. Note that the securing line-loop and the four closure fl aps should
face downwards, towards the neoprene part in the reserve compart-
ment, and the connection to the deployment handle should run with-
out twists.
