Tips:
1.
About 6% to 10% of moisture may remain in foods without danger of spoilage. Many dried foods will have
a leathery consistency.
2.
After drying, fruit should be left to 'sweeten' or condition for a week before consuming. To condition,
place fruit in a non- aluminium, non-plastic container and place in a dry well - ventilated area.
3.
Make sure food is thoroughly dry before packing.
4.
Check the dried food once a month for spoilage. If the food was not in its best condition at the point of
dehydration the spoilage bacteria may continue to multiply.
5.
The drying time of each time shall not over 48 hours.
