8. Operation of the model helicopter

To perform service or adjustment work on the model or to
change batteries, you need to take off the cabin hood.
For this purpose, lift the hood off the two support bolts (1)
on the left and the right and pull off the hood forwards.
Ensure that you don't pull the hood too far asunder to
ensure that you do not cause rips.
Practical tip:
Connect the two hood rubbers (2) with a drop of silicon lubricant.
This extends the life of the rubbers and ensures that the hood is easy to remove.
a) Charging the flight battery
Please note: These is no LiPo rechargeable flight battery
supplied with the device. It must be ordered separately.
Prior to starting to operate your model helicopter, you need
to charge the LiPo flight battery (1). Use a suitable charger
with a balancer connection. The rechargeable battery is
equipped with the required 4-pole connection cable (2)
for this purpose.
The 2-pole connection cable with 4mm gold contact plugs
(3) serves to connect the battery to the model later on.
Ensure correct polarity when operating the model!
Note!
During the charging procedure, place the LiPo battery on a fire-proof support or in an appropriate
ceramic container.
Never charge the rechargeable battery unattended.
