Installation

5.1 Check the installation conditions
Observe the prerequisites regarding the installation location:
Take the building waterproofing version into account (white tank or bituminous membrane), see corresponding installation
examples.
Calculate the height or thickness of the floor slab, the maximum depth must not be exceeded. An extension section
(accessories, art. no. 83075 or 83073) may be required.
Check whether the system is installed in a floor with water load. For groundwater resistance of the system, see "Technical
data", page 22.
Check whether pipe separation in accordance with EN 12056-4 is present. Wastewater and rainwater must be discharged
separately. For wastewater which occurs below the backwater level, the connection must also be downstream of the
downpipe.
Ensure that an adequate stilling section (1m upstream and downstream of the system) is available.
Ensure that the crossovers from the downpipe have been made with 45° bends, to prevent deposits in the pipes.
Heed maximum installation depth
A maximum installation depth of 650 mm to the upper edge of the functional unit (motor) should be observed for installa-
tion in the floor slab. This way, the necessary parts can be reached for maintenance and servicing.
