To call the View Weld abstract of a welding report, press
the ñ key in the start screen (see Display 3). To print a tag
of this operation, press the START/SET key in the View Weld
screen.
After the View Weld abstract was accessed, it is possible to
browse through all abstracts in memory by pressing the ï
and ð keys.
ViewWeld also enables assigning the geo-data of a joint af-
ter it was made, in case they were not recorded with enabled
geo-data logging at the welding operation (see Sect. 4.4).
To do this, call the ViewWeld screen and, if needed, browse
to the welding abstract of the joint that needs to have its
geo-data assigned. Then press the ñ cursor key in the View-
Weld screen displaying the desired welding operation. This
causes a screen asking you if you want to record geo-data
to appear (see Display 31). Confirm by pressing the START/
SET key and log the geo-data according to the procedure
described in Sect. 4.4.

To download welding reports — as well as other records and
reports relevant for the welding system —, the dedicated
smartphone app HÜRNER Weld Trace is provided, for An-
droid in the Google Play Store, for iOS in the Apple App
Store. Refer to the app itself as well for more details.
After starting the app, the smartphone must be connected
via Bluetooth to the welding system from which the down-
load is meant to occur. To this end, use the appropriate but-
ton on the smartphone screen to display all Bluetooth-aware
devices within reach, touch the desired welding system, and
use the "Connect" function. Prior Bluetooth pairing of the
devices is not required.
This will display all downloadable (welding) reports and re-
cords, for you to touch them for selection and download
them using the "Load" function. They can then be viewed
on the smartphone screen, as a PDF file, with the "View"
function. The "Share" function allows sending that same
file as an attachment of an e-mail or SMS/MMS.
