2. Intended use

This camera is used for video monitoring and protecting secluded or critical areas (e.g. entrance
areas, yard entrances, underground car parks).
The camera may be operated only with a stabilised current of 12 V/DC or an alternating current of
24 V/AC.
The product is designed for operation indoors and outdoors (IP66).
Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera without their
knowledge and consent. Observe the rules and regulations of the country where you are using
the camera.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this may give rise to
hazards such as short-circuiting, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modifi ed
or converted!
