• If the mains adapter is damaged, do not touch it. Danger to life from electric shock!
First deactivate all sides of the mains socket to which the plug-in mains adapter is connected
(e.g. switch off the respective fuse or turn out the fuse. Then deactivate the associated FI pro-
tection switch).
Then unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket. Replace the damaged plug-in mains unit
by a new one of the same build.
c) Mobile Unit, Basis Station, Relay Module
• The mobile unit, basis station and relay module are only suitable for operation in dry closed
inner rooms. Do not expose these parts to direct sunlight, heat, cold, dust, dirt, dampness or
wetness; otherwise, they may be damaged!
• Do not push the surface of the mobile unit's display; this will cause scratches. The display may
also break and thus be damaged permanently. Loss of guarantee/warranty!
• Only operate the mobile unit with 2 rechargeable NiMH batteries of the same build, but never
with non-rechargeable batteries.
• When using the mobile unit, some hearing aids may emit unpleasant humming.
d) Outdoor Unit
• The outdoor unit is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. However, it must never be operated in
or under water; it would be destroyed by this.
Install the outdoor unit outdoors under a protruding roof (e.g. an awning).
• Ensure that the connection cable is not crushed, bent or damaged by sharp edges.
