9. Operation

a) Log on Outdoor Unit at the Indoor Unit
The manufacturer has already logged on the outdoor unit to the indoor unit.
Usually, new login is therefore not needed.
However, if the indoor unit does not react to the outdoor unit (even at small
distances of e.g. 1 m), you can permit the logon yourself.
Proceed as follows:
1. Check if the outdoor unit is ready (briefly cover the brightness sensor (27); the lighting
of the doorbell button must be activated automatically).
2. Switch on the indoor unit via the on/off switch (18).
3. If you briefly push the "
display appears at the lower left).
If this is not the case, connect the mains adapter to the indoor unit and push the
"
" button (12) again briefly.
If the regular image of the camera of the outdoor unit appears now in the display,
the outdoor unit is already logged on to the indoor unit.
The following procedure is then not needed!
4. Keep the "
in the middle of the display.
The logon mode is now activated for approx. 5 - 6 seconds. Steps 5 and 6 must be
performed during this time.
5. Briefly push the doorbell button on the outdoor unit so that it is switched on (red LED
behind the name tag lights up).
In darkness the red LED is hard to see since the blue backlighting is activated
as well.
6. Keep the doorbell button on the outdoor unit pushed for at least 3 seconds.
7. If logon was successful, the symbol "
If logon was not successful, the symbol "

" button (12), the display must be activated (e.g. time/date

" appears in the middle of the display.
" appears. Perform logon again.
