b) Attachment to the Wall, Connection
Proceed as follows:
• Remove the rubber cover (31) above the connection terminals.
• If you want to operate the outdoor unit with batteries, remove the associated cover (24) of the battery
compartment by pushing out the cover downwards.
Observe that the door opener is not available at battery-powered operation.
Therefore, we recommend only operating the outdoor unit with an external voltage/power supply
(12 V/DC, at least 1.5 A).
• Install the relay module in a location protected from moisture, e.g. on the inside next to the door. The
relay module can be screwed on via two openings.
Choose the installation height so that the name tag can be read best and the speaker or microphone in
the outdoor unit are not too low.
Attach the wall holder so that the angled end points down. Use two suitable screws and poss. dowels.
The wall holder has an opening for placing the cables.
110 mm
Install the outdoor unit only on a stable surface, but not on metal surfaces or near any other
electrical/electronic devices.
When drilling or tightening screws, ensure that no wires or lines are damaged! This also applies
when placing the connection cables (voltage/current supply and door opener) and any masonry
work that may be needed for this.
The connection must only be established in the voltage-free condition.
