g) Hands Free Function
During a call, you can switch between the speaker (7) in the handset and the larger speaker (15) on the
rear. Then you can put the mobile unit down, e.g. on the table, and talk to the caller without holding the
mobile unit to your ear.
Proceed as follows:
• To activate the hands free function during a call, briefly push the button „
• If the hands free function is to be terminated, briefly push the button „

The volume can be set as described in chapter 11. f) with the button „
natively, the setting in the setup menu can be changed as well.
h) Flash Signal
If a number is busy, push the corresponding function button („R" in the display) to send a flash signal.
Depending on the phone company or phone grid used, the flash signal is used, e.g. for knocking.

i) Pager Function (Find Mobile Unit)
If you have misplaced your mobile unit and cannot find it, you can activate the ring tone at the mobile unit
from the basis station.
• Briefly push the pager button (19) at the bottom of the basis station.
• Unless the rechargeable batteries in the mobile unit are flat, all mobile units connected to the basis
station emit a sound signal for approx. 60 seconds.
To terminate the sound signal, either push the pager button (19) at the bottom of the basis station again
or any button on the mobile unit.
Push the pager button (19) only briefly. If you push the button for more than 5 seconds, the basis
station will start the logon mode (to log on a new mobile unit).
