Repeat playback

You can repeat playback of the current group or track (for
DVD AUDIO), current title or chapter (for DVD VIDEO) or
current or all tracks (for SVCD/Video CD/Audio CD).
You can also repeat playback of a desired part.
To repeat the current selection or all

Press REPEAT.
Each time you press REPEAT, the repeat mode
switches cyclically.
You can see the selected mode by icons in the
display window on the front panel as below.

On the TV screen, a window for repeat mode
indication appears. You can check the current
repeat mode from the window.
The mode indication on the window is the same as
the one on the menu bar (see pages 47, 48 and 49).

If you press REPEAT while stopped, you need to
press 3 to start repeat playback.

GROUP Repeats the current group for
DVD AUDIO.
Repeats the current title for DVD
TITLE
VIDEO.
DISC Repeats all tracks on the current
disc for SVCD/Video CD/Audio
CD.
ALL Repeats all the available discs.
TRACK Repeats the current track for
DVD AUDIO/SVCD/Video CD/
Audio CD.
CHAP Repeats the current chapter for
DVD VIDEO.
No OFF The repeat mode is off.

The unit plays back all available
discs unless there is any disc
that automatically pauses at the
menu. However, the unit stops
playback after the playback of
the disc 7.
• To stop repeat playback
Press 7.
When an SVCD, Video CD or Audio CD disc is set, the
unit stops playback but does not quit the repeat mode.
When a DVD AUDIO or DVD VIDEO disc is set, the unit
stops playback and quits the repeat mode.
• To quit repeat playback
Press REPEAT until the repeat mode indicator goes off
in the display window.
You can also clear the repeat mode by opening the
carousel or changing the current disc except in repeat
ALL mode.
NOTES
• You can also select the repeat mode via the menu bar.
See pages 47, 48 and 49.
• When the program playback mode is active with a DVD
AUDIO, SVCD, Video CD or Audio CD, the repeat mode
changes in the same manner.
Note that, however, in the "
the programmed tracks, instead of all tracks on the disc.
• During playback in the title/chapter/group/track repeat
mode, if you skip the title/chapter/group/track using
4/¢, etc., the destination title/chapter/group/track is
repeated.
• If appears when pressing REPEAT during DVD VIDEO
playback
You cannot repeat the title or chapter because of the disc
contents.
• Repeat playback function cannot be used during SVCD/
Video CD playback with PBC function.
