1. Introduction
Congratulations on buying this PUKY tricycle.
In it you have acquired a product which is sure
to give your child a great deal of pleasure.
This user manual contains advice on using this
new tricycle safely and looking after it. If you
have any questions or problems, please
consult your specialist dealer or make use of
our Internet address: www.puky.de.
2. Using the tricycle for the first time
Your tricycle has been assembled by
your specialist dealer and is ready for
use, so that no assembly work is necessary.
Please make sure that your specialist
dealer has carried out the safety check.
3. Parents' responsibility
The tricycle meets the requirements of
European Standard EN 71 as indicated
by the CE mark.
Hazards during play with the tricycle have
been largely ruled out in proper use. Bear in
mind however that children's temperament and
natural impulse to play may give rise to unpre-
dictable situations and dangers for which the
manufacturer cannot be held responsible. You
should therefore teach your children how to
use the tricycle correctly and make them
aware of potential dangers.
4. Warnings
Children must wear shoes which fully
enclose their feet. The tricycle must
not be ridden near staircases, slopes, sharp
inclines, swimming pools or other bodies of
water. Flights of stairs and steps in the sur-
rounding area must be secured so that chil-
dren cannot under any circumstances ride the
tricycle up or down them.
5. Use
Please use the tricycle only in suitable
and specially reserved play areas. It
does not comply with the Road Transport
Licensing Regulations (StVZO) and may not
be used in road traffic. The permitted maxi
mum total load is 25 kg.
6. Care and maintenance
Use environmentally friendly products for
cleaning, which may not be aggressive or
caustic. The vehicle is to be protected from
de-icing salt and long periods of storage in
damp areas (e.g. a garage) are to be avoided.
Attention! Don't use a high pressure clean
ing machine for cleaning the vehicle.
Check all parts regularly for possible
wear and tear (or more often if use is
frequent) and that all screw connections and
protective equipment (e.g. protective and
brake caps) are secure.
