Chemicals, solvents and vapours must not come into contact with the RO device.
f
The installation location must be frostresistant and protected against direct sunlight.
f
NOTE!
The materials were selected in accordance with the requirements of DIN 18879-1 and EN 14898.
f
The pressure rating of the filter system corresponds to DIN 18879-1.
f
The countryspecific guidelines must be observed when using demineralized water (permeate).
f
Where the RO device is used for food applications, all permeate consumers shall be cleaned and flushed well before use.
f
Avoid storing the device for unnecessarily long periods in order to prevent the risk of stagnation.
f
If the municipal water is treated with oxidising disinfectants (chlorine, chlorine dioxide etc.), an upstream activated carbon filter is essen
f
tial. Further pretreatment must be defined depending on the feed water quality.
4.1

sions, specialist staff are able to install, commission and maintain the device.
4.4 Pressure
Minimal operating pressure is required in order to guarantee optimum function of the device. In
addition, the water pressure should not exceed the maximum permissible pressure.
I
CAUTION!
The pump pressure (operating pressure) must not exceed 8.6 bar. If this value is exceeded permanently, the pump pressure must be
f
reduced using the adjusting screw on the pump head.
The feed water inlet pressure must always be between 0.15 and 0.4 MPa (1.5 and 4 bar) directly at the RO.
f
If the pressure is higher than 0.4 MPa (4 bar), a pressure reduction valve shall be installation.
f
If the pressure is lower than 0.15 MPa (1.5 bar), a pressure booster system shall be installed upstream.
f
It is a good idea to install a shut-off valve at the inlet side of the device, so that the feed
