A pre-treatment process that removes the hardness from the raw water. The
hardness is caused by the calcium and magnesium ions contained in the
water.
The raw water is the untreated drinking water that is connected to the
connection for the water inlet.
Reverse osmosis.
The largely desalinated "pure water extracted through reverse osmosis". The
key parameter is the electrical conductivity in μS/cm or TDS.
The waste water that contains all the salts and minerals removed from the
raw water.
The device's filter, which desalinates the raw water under high pressure and
throughput.
Total dissolved solids: total content of dissolved salts, measured in mg/l.
Silt density index
(blockage index)
tendency to cause a blockage.
The lower the value for electrical conductivity
RO device, the lower the salt concentration in the permeate product.
