ADJUSTMENT AND TESTIN
LIFT ADJUSTMENT AND TESTING PROCEDURE
WARNING: BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE TESTING OF THE LIFT, CAREFULLY
CLEAN AND DRY ALL THE CONNECTIONS, THE PISTONS AND THE OTHER PARTS OF
THE LIFT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE CARRIAGE MECHANIC ALIGNMENT AND CORRECT ENGAGEMENT
OF THE MECHANICAL SAFETY LOCKS.
1)
Bring the carriages to the maximum height and align them hydraulically keeping the UP
push-button and the braking cut-off button pressed for a few seconds.
2)
Check the position of the carriages: the space between the first hole of the column safety
lock and the movable wedge should be at least 10 mm.
3)
Press UP for a few seconds, let the mechanic locks engage and check that the wedges are
locked on the first tooth of the relevant columns.
Press the DOWN push-button and check that:

The carriages make a short stroke upwards (5-6 cm unladen lift).
-
The mechanical safety locks open.
-
The stroke downwards is started.
-
The limit switch FCE operates at 15-20 cm from the ground (releasing of the safety locks can
be heard).
-
Tthe carriages reach the ground and the arm-locking safety device opens.
WARNING: If the carriage upwards stroke before lowering is not correct, it can be
modified by operating the timers as shown in § 7.0.
TEST OF SAFETY DEVICE OPERATION AS PER § 6.1.2:
Check of the correct operation of the safety devices controlling carriage misalignment.
