1)
Insert the metal transverse pipe (3, Fig. 17) into the crossbeam channel and connect both
ends to the fittings of the pipes (4, Fig.17) fixed to the columns.
2)
Extract the discharge plastic hose (5, Fig. 16) from the column and route it through the
crossbeam channel, through the hole in P1 column (9, Fig. 18) up to the hydraulic control unit.
Connect the hose to the fitting on the control unit (6, Fig. 17) after fitting the supplied fitting
(7, Fig. 17) and reinforcement bush (7A, Fig. 17) to the pipe.
Extract the pneumatic system hose (Fig. 19) from P1 column and connect it to the cylinder
3)
fitting on P2 column.
Mount the overhead safety shut-off limit switch (10, Fig. 17) on the crossbeam bracket as
4)
shown in Fig. 17 using the supplied screws, so that the safety pipe (11, Fig. 17) is under the limit
switch lever. Whenever the safety pipe is pushed upwards, the limit switch (10, Fig. 17) must
trip. Pass the electrical cable through the cable guide in P1 column (5, Fig. 19), route it out the
hole (18, Fig. 20) and connect it to the terminal board of the electrical board.
5)
Fix the cable cover casing (23, Fig. 1).
4.4.4 CONNECTIONS TO THE ELECTRIC POWER NETWORK
CAUTION:
Lift electrical panel hook-up voltage shall correspond to the voltage value indicated on the
electrical board.
The electrical board shall already be connected to a main switch manufactured and installed
in compliance with the National prevailing standards.
The system delivering power to lift electrical board shall be in compliance with the National
prevailing standards.
Min. needed power is 3 kW.
Power circuit wires min. section shall be 4 mm2.
During this phase, electric motor can be operated just for a few seconds, in order to avoid any
damage to the hydraulic pump.
Connect the power cable coming out of P1 column to the electric power network following
the relevant instructions.
Upon completing installation, connect workshop ground circuit to lift structure so as to avoid
any electrostatic discharge accumulation.
WARNING: Before proceeding with the following operations, carefully read the
recommendations set forth in section 5.0 relating to control panel functions.
2)
Power the line, and check that Emergency Switch/Disconnector/OFF (18, Fig.1) is set to ON
(turn it in the direction shown by the arrow if necessary).
3)
Press and release the «UP» push-button (19, Fig. 1) and check that the motor rotates in the
direction shown by the arrow printed on the aluminium flange on the control unit. If not so,
disconnect mains power and invert two phases in the terminal board of the electrical board.
