POSSIBLE CAUSE
• The steering wheel is too
small.
• The trim adjuster is faulty.
• Presence of air in the oil.
• Presence of air in the
system.
• Oil leaks.
• Steering gear mounted
with the filling hole low
positioned.
• Possible breakage of the
component connecting the
piston and the rod.
• Fittings incorrectly
tightened or with
insufficient torque.

INTERVENTION
• Replace the steering wheel
with a larger one.
•
CAUTION
Only within the maximum
dimensions allowed by the
steering gear.
• Tune the trim adjuster.
• Check the oil level and
repeat the bleeding
procedure as described in
this manual.
• Repeat the filling and
bleeding procedures of the
system.
• Search for the leak and
contact qualified staff.
• Install the steering gear
with the filling hole high
positioned.
• DO NOT USE THE BOAT!
Request the intervention
of a qualified technician to
replace the cylinder.
• Tighten fittings by applying
a maximum torque of 20 Nm
(15 in Ibs).
