FITTING THE GEARMOTOR

Gearmotor is secured into the ground with the appropriate
. The sliding plate can be welded to a
SLIDING SECURING PLATE
, or (if the base is strong enough)
FOUNDATION PLATE
INTO THE GROUND WITH SCREW ANCHORS AND CHEMICAL ONES
!
Warning
Other assembly methods where the motor base is not
horizontal are forbidden by the manufacturer.
Caution
Do NOT handle the gearmotor by
grasping it by the plastic cover.
Loosen the fi xing screw and remove the operator cover
(Fig.8). It will be remounted at the end of the installation
(making slide the coverf along the vertical guides and
blocking it by the fi xing screw).

IMPORTANT
During the inspection in-situ the installer must ensure there
is space enough all around the gate panel suffi cient for
the overall dimensions considering the overall dimensions
(Fig.9-10).
4.1
Fixing the sliding plate
The cement support base for the operator must be result a
few centimetres above the surrounding ground level.
In very snowy zones or areas subject to flooding we
recommend positioning the plate 20-30 cm above the
ground surface.

Warning
It is essential that the foundation works be carried out
perfectly, following the Fig.10-11 instructions, in order
to obtain the correc position of the operator and the
electrical cables with respect to the wing gate.
Excavate a trench (dimensions given in
with good-quality cement. IMPORTANT! the electrical cables
shall be positioned correctly in relation to the cable passing
slot present in the plate.
Pass the
electrical cables through the appropriate slot
and position the plate with the 45° bended clips into the
cement trench (Fig.11). IMPORTANT! Position the plate
correctly: perfectly parallel to the sliding gate and at a
correct distance from the resting surface of the gate (Fig.12).
Check the horizontal position of the plate with a level
