Mounting sequences

GALVANIZED STEEL RACK
Fix the spacers to the rack with screws and washers,

making sure that the screws pass through the centre of
the slot (Fig.18).
Throw the gate completely open.

WARNING
- during the positionings of the rack pieces on the pinion,
the gearmotor must be locked ;
- to allow any manual shifting of the gate, the gearmotor
must be released (see the

Align the pinion with the fi rst spacer axis (Fig.19).
Fix the fi rst spacer to the gate with a welding spot

Repeat the steps above with all elements of the rack

At the end of the positionings weld defi nitively all the

rack spacers to the gate. IMPORTANT! Weld the spacers
along their entire circumference.

Warning
To prevent gate from weighing on the operator pinion,
the whole rack must be raised by 1.5 mm using the row
of slots for the different rack components; only after
this can the fi xing screws be fully tightened.
PLASTIC RACK
The mounting sequences from 2 to 10 above are valid, taking
into account the following differences:
There are no spacers to be welded to the gate. Fix the rack
pieces using the supplied screws and plates to be inserted
in their four arranged locations (Fig.22-Part.A).

Facilitated matching
facilitated by matching notches on the heads of the pieces
which helps the aligning. Clean the possible trimmings on
the angles of the matching notches. If necessary, make
adjustments on the matching notches.
IMPORTANT: To maintain correct alignment and pitch it is
advisable to use a reference template (Fig.22-Part.B).
