7. Life Phases

7.8 Maintenance

LZ 70 P
All electric cylinders are provided with the required amount of lubricant ex-factory. The mainte-
nance intervals are determined by the number of operating hours, load and ambient influences.
You should retract the push rod to 30 mm to lubricate the spindle and push rod. The electric cyl-
inder must be turned off after reaching the maintenance position (stroke "0 mm"). For spindle lu-
brication, remove the threaded plug by turning it anti-clockwise.
Lubricate with a grease gun. The nozzle of the grease gun must be inserted centrally in the lubri-
cation hole.
For lubrication, two strokes worth of grease are pressed into the lubrication hole.
After maintenance, the maintenance opening should be closed again using the threaded plug.
The push rod is lubricated with one stroke using the funnel-shaped grease nipple
in the cover cap. Excess or extruded grease should be removed with a cloth.
After 1000 operating hours, the trapezoidal threaded spindle nut must be checked for
wear by testing the amount of thread play.
For versions with trapezoidal spindles Ø20x4, if axial play is
must be replaced.
For versions with trapezoidal spindles Ø20x8, if axial play is
must be replaced.
