1. Notes to the instructions for use

GB
Users are requested to read these
instructions for use carefully and
observe the contents as well as
the enclosed notes on safety pre-
cautions. In conjunction with the
instructions for use, users should
familiarise themselves with the
machine, its adjuster controls,
its correct operation as well as
with the safety precautions.

2. Correct operation

The
Electric
MulchCut is designed
for the
cutting
and mulching of
lawns and grass spaces in private-
house and hobby gardens, and
not for commercial use in public
spaces, parks, sports grounds,
along the streets and in agricul-
ture and forestry.

4. Preparing the machine for use

4.1. Adjusting the height of the
handlebar frame
(40 ES only)

adjusted to the height of the body.

should be slackened and the
handlebar allowed to engage
the latch at the required height.

should then again be tightened

Fix the lead in place by pushing the
clamp from outside onto the lower
part of the frame (Fig. 1, Pos. 3).

with the central adjust-
ment screw

The height setting can be

divisions (Fig. 2, Pos. 2).
