1. Notes to the instructions for use

Users are requested to read these
instructions for use carefully and
observe the contents as well as
the enclosed notes on safety pre-
cautions. In conjunction with the
instructions for use, users should
familiarise themselves with the
machine, its adjuster controls,
its correct operation as well as
with the safety precautions.

2. Correct operation

The lawn mower is designed for
the cutting of lawns and grass
spaces in private-house and hobby
gardens, and not for commercial
use in public spaces, parks, sports
grounds, along the streets and
in agriculture and forestry.

4. Preparing the machine for use

starting, care should be taken to
ensure that the crankcase is filled
with SAE 30 oil up to the upper
marking on the dipstick. The

3.2. Assembly of
the handlebar frame

The oil level in the crankcase
should be checked before each
mowing session. To check the oil
level, park the machine on a level
surface and withdraw the dipstick.
The oil level shown on the dipstick
of the Honda motor must be with-
in the ribbing mark and with all
other motors

grips should then be firmly secured

Normal low octane motor spirit
is recommended as fuel.
Caution ! Motor spirit fuel

is highly flammable.
Ensure that motor spirit fuel is only
stored in the containers intended
for that. Fuel should only be
topped-up outdoors and smoking
should not be indulged whilst
fuelling.
