The lubrication interval S
Load factors:
– dusty and dirty environment
– nominal stroke , 2000 mm or  300 mm
– travel profile Z triangular operation (frequent acceleration and braking)
– ambient temperature , +40 °C
– service life of the product , 3 years.
• If one of these factors applies, cut the lubrication interval S
• If several factors apply at the same time, reduce the lubrication interval by three-
quarters.
3. Oil or grease the guide and spindle at all relubrication openings (è Fig. 14).

Unexpected movement of components.
Injury due to impact or pinching.
• When working on the axis, switch off the controller and secure it to prevent it from
being switched back on unintentionally.
• Observe notes on transport (è 4 Transport).
• Remove motor cables and mounting components.
If repairs are required:
• Send axis to Festo or contact Festo service (è www.festo.com).
Festo carries out the required repairs, fine adjustments and checks.
