Using the PC link and the enclosed connection cable, the remote control transmitter can also be used for training on a PC.
Control signals are transmitted from your transmitter to the PC directly via the connection cable. This way valuable experience
can be gained while going easy on your equipment.
Charging socket (7)
The function switch should be in the "OFF" position before you start charging!
Never try to charge dry batteries.
Reverse switch Steering function / Driving function (a, e)
The reverse switch of a channel reverses the direction of rotation of the connected servos or the direction of travel.
Trim controls for channels 1 and 2 (c, h)
The trim fine tunes the zero position of the servo steering and/or the speed control / accelerator servo / brake servo. For this,
the dual rate values should be set to 100%. The fine-tuning is simplified for maximum control travel.
Control LED (b)
The control LED indicates the switched-on state of the transmitter.
Function switch (d)
The transmitter can be switched on or off using the function switch.
Undervoltage indicator (f)
The LED indicates the state of charge of the transmitter batteries. The battery voltage is sufficient (> 9V) as long as the LED
is green.
Bind button (g)
To restore/establish the link between transmitter and receiver after changing the receiver and transmitter or to rectify an
error.
Dual rate control steer angle (i)
The deflection of the servo steering can be set in the range of 0% to 100%. This setting affects both the steering directions,
to the right and left equally.
. Putting the model into operation
The model is already assembled ready to run and can be put into operation immediately after the rechargeable batteries for
the transmitter and the rechargeable drive battery are charged. The drive and steering components are assembled and wired,
and the link between the transmitter and receiver is established automatically each time after they are switched on.
Charging the rechargeable drive battery
If you want to use a charging device different to the one that comes with your model,
be very sure to follow the operating instructions for the charging device.
Charge the rechargeable battery outside the model to avoid overheating during the charging process.
The charging connection cable for the rechargeable drive battery is equipped with a reverse-polarity-protected plug system.
>
Connect the plug-in mains adapter 230 V mains voltage. The cable has to be unwound for operation.
>
Connect the rechargeable drive battery to the battery charger.
The LED for the plug-in charger is only for checking the functioning and is not an indicator of the charging status of the
>
rechargeable battery.
Disconnect the rechargeable battery after 10 hours at the latest or if the battery charger gets very hot.
>
CAUTION!
Before the rechargeable battery may be recharged after a trip, it has to cool down completely.
Before the rechargeable battery may be recharged after a trip, it has to cool down completely.
Put the charged rechargeable drive battery into the model.
>
Undo the two cotter pins for the rechargeable battery mounting devices and
>
lift the cover.
>
Put the rechargeable drive battery into the battery holder on the longitudinal
edge.
Put the foam rubber into the battery tray to make the rechargeable battery
fit snugly.
Replug the covers and
