Answering machine BS

The telephone has an integrated answering
machine.
This can be controlled from the base or from
the cordless handset.
Control using the base (BS) is described
here.

Weekday setting for voice output

The answering machine has a voice output
function. In order for the voice output func-
tion to speak the current weekday, this must
first be set at the base. To do this, proceed
as follows:
1. Press and hold down the
the set weekday is spoken.
2. Press the button repeatedly until the
required day is spoken.
3. Press the button until the set weekday
is spoken to save the setting and comple-
te the process.
CAUTION: As soon as the base is discon-
nected/cut-off from the power, the setting
will be lost and must be reset.

Switching on the answering machine

1. Press the button to switch on the
answering machine. The speech output tells
you that the answering machine is switched
on.

Switching off the answering machine

1. Press the button to switch off the
answering machine. The speech output tells
you that the answering machine is switched
off.

Playing back messages

If you have one or more new messages it
is indicated in the LCD display of the base.
To playback the message, press the
ton. The messages are played back in se-
quence. During playback, the following func-
tions can be activated:
When the playback has ended, the TAM re-
turns to output mode. All incoming messa-
ges are saved, except the ones that were
delected during the playback of a message.
