Answering machine HS

The telephone has an integrated answering
machine.
This can be controlled from the base or from
the cordless handset.
Control using the cordless handset (HS) is
described here.

Switch on the answering machine (TAM)

1. Press the "Menu" button and select the
"ANS. Machine" entry with
2. Now press "Select".
3. Search for "TAM Setting" and confirm with
"Select".
4. Select "TAM On/Off" and confirm with
"Select".

Announcement 1 and 2

Before using the answering machine, record
the announcement. There are 2 different
announcement. Announcement 1 is only a
message that is given to the caller. In the
menu this is "Answer Only".
Announcement 2 is a spoken message. In
the menu this is "ANS & REC".
Recording Announcement 1 (without
message)
During recording please speak directly into
the microphone to get the best results.
1. Press the "Menu" button and select the
"ANS. Machine" entry with

3. Select "Announce" and confirm with "Se-
lect".
4. Search for "Answer Only" and confirm
with "Select".
5. Select "Record MESS" and confirm with
"Select". The display shows "Recording".
Now say your announcement loudly and
clearly on the answering machine and
end the recording with "OK".
