Congratulations on purchasing your freeTel eco telephone; we hope that you enjoy using it
for a long time to come. Please read this operating manual carefully in order to correctly set
up the telephone and become familiar with all available options of the system.

Safety notes

For advice how to set up your telephone and its safe use, please read the safety notes and
the chapter on "Setup".
• Caution:
A high volume can be set on your telephone. Please follow these instructions
to protect your hearing or the hearing of individuals with normal hearing sensiti-
vity, especially that of children, from hearing damage due to excessive volumes:
1. Set a low volume level before holding the telephone receiver to your ear.
2. Set the volume to a comfortable level during use.
• Set the device on a non-slip surface.
• Lay the connection cable safely.
• Never expose the telephone to the following influences:
– heat sources
– direct sunlight
– humidity
Protect your telephone from moisture, dust, corrosive liquids and vapours.
• Only connect the connection cable to the appropriate connection sockets.
• Only connect approved accessories.
• Never
– open the telephone yourself!
– carry the telephone by the connection cable!
