d) Operation of the pulse watch

The following operation of the pulse watch is only possible if you wear the chest strap
and the pulse is correctly transferred to the pulse watch.
• First put on the chest strap as described in chapter 8.
• Switch to the function "HMR" in the pulse watch. Observe chapter 12. b).
• The pulse display will flash during recognition. The small heart
in the display starts to flash black when the pulse watch has
recorded your pulse and measures it.
• Once recognition is completed, the current pulse is displayed
and the black heart flashes in your pulse cycle. Of course, the
pulse is displayed in real time and may change.
• When you are wearing the chest strap and your current pulse
is displayed, the display also always shows the percentage of
your current heart rate as compared to your max. heart rate.
This is done in the form of three bars that you can see at the
bottom left in the display.
One beam means less than 60 % of your max. heart rate.
Two beams mean 60 - 85 % of your max. heart rate.
Three beams mean more than 85 % of your max. heart rate.
