7. Initial commissioning of the product

• The battery of the pulse watch was installed on site. Therefore, it is ready for operation at once
after unpacking.
If you want to reset the clock before setup, perform a factory reset as described in chapter 10
or 19.
• The chest strap battery may be enclosed with the delivery separately.
In this case, insert the battery as described in the chapter on battery change.

8. Putting on the chest strap

• If the chest strap is closed, open it. For this, simply pull apart one of the holding clips.
• Put on the chest strap. For correct alignment, left (L) and right (R) are indicated on the back
of the sensor. To close the chest strap, push the holding clip of the rubber strip into the cor-
responding opening of the sensor. Ensure that it latches properly.
