5. Safety information

The guarantee/warranty will expire if damage is incurred resulting from non-
compliance with the operating instructions! We do not assume any liability for
consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! In
such cases the guarantee/warranty will expire!
Dear Customer,
this safety information serves not only to protect the product, but also your own safety
and the safety of other persons. Therefore, read this chapter very carefully before
taking the product into operation!
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible
for safety and approval reasons (CE). Do not open/disassemble it (except for the
battery change described in these operating instructions)! There are no interior
components to be set or serviced by you.
Maintenance and repair work must only be carried out by a specialist/specialised
workshop.
• The pulse watch and chest strap can be used to monitor the pulse rate. The prod-
uct is, however, not a replacement for professional medical devices or monitoring
by a doctor.
• In case of health problems, the product must only be used in coordination with a
doctor. The same applies if you have a pacer.
• Protect the product from direct solar radiation, strong heat (> 50 °C) or cold
(<-5 °C), dust and dirt, vibrations or mechanic load.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of reach of children. The product
contains small parts, glass (display) and batteries.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for
children.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged by impact, blows or when
dropped even from a low height.
• If there are any questions that are not answered in this operating manual, contact
our technical support or another expert.
