Faulty wiring
Faulty wiring can lead to malfunctions as well as damage to
the DDL line. This is particularly the case if 24 V voltage is
present on the DDL-H and DDL-L signal lines or if the supply
lines have been exchanged.

Labeling the module
Inscribe the address provided/used for the bus coupler in
the "ADDRESS" field on the cover of the module. See
"Assigning an address to the bus coupler" on page 69 for
how to set the address.
Connecting the bus coupler electrically
Make sure the relevant system component is not under
voltage or pressure before electrically connecting
modules to the valve terminal.
Do not insert or disconnect plug connectors under load.
Use pre-assembled plug connections and cables to
connect the modules, if possible. Only use cables that
meet the DDL system specifications as well as the
connection speed and length requirements.
In order to assure both the protection class and the
required strain relief, the cable and plug assembly
should be done professionally.
