9. Turn axis until the Acme Nut becomes
completely unthreaded (Figure 79)
NOTE
The axis will move toward the opposite side

10. Remove ACME Nut by pushing the ACME rod
into the table and tilting the acme nut until it
can be removed (Figure 80)

Install New Acme Nut:
11. Insert the New ACME Nut leaning toward the
opposite side (Figure 81)

12. Slide Acme nut on Acme rod and turn slowly
until nut starts to run nut into the table 3"- 4"
(Figure 82, 83)
Note: This will put the axis out of calibration
13. Install guide blocks on Acme shaft (Figure 84)
14. Align and Install screws in motor mount on the
opposite end of the axis
Insert all screws before tightening them. (Figure 85)
