8 Rechtliche Hinweise
8.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen und Anweisungen in diesem
Dokument verwendet wird. Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieses Dokuments, insbe
sondere durch unsachgemäße Verwendung oder unerlaubte Veränderung des Produkts verur
sacht werden, haftet der Hersteller nicht.
8.2 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie 93/42/EWG für Medizinpro
dukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriterien nach Anhang IX dieser Richtlinie wurde das Produkt
in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb vom Hersteller in alleiniger
Verantwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

1.1 Construction and Function
The 1E80*, 1E81* and 1E87* Chopart Footplates are used together with the 2C5* and 2E3* Foot
shells as prosthetic feet in prostheses for Chopart, Pirogoff or Syme amputations.
The workflow for fabricating a Chopart prosthesis is described in detail and illustrated with
images in the 1.1.3 Technical Information (646T113*).
The fabrication of prostheses for Chopart, Pirogoff and Syme amputations is essentially the same.
The distance between the prosthetic socket and the Chopart footplate must be the same for all
prostheses. For this reason, the distal area of the prosthetic socket must be designed to com
pensate for the amputation level.
