CONTROLS ______________________________________________________________
A. Throttle Lever
Used to regulate engine speed.
B. Circuit Breaker – (Gasoline)
If the gauges or ignition system fail to operate
properly, check the circuit breaker then depress cap
to reactivate the breaker.
B. Glow Plug Switch – (Diesel)
Used to energize the glow plugs (Refer to Section
5.4).
C. Choke – (Gasoline)
Used to start a cold engine.
C. Circuit Breaker – (Diesel)
If the gauges or ignition system fail to operate
properly, check the circuit breaker then depress cap
to reactivate the breaker.
D. Hour Meter – (Gasoline)
Used to time maintenance intervals or mowing
operations. The meter operates only when the
ignition key is in the "On" position.
D. Water Temperature – (Diesel)
Indicates
engine
operating temperature should be 185 - 195 degrees
F (85 - 91 degrees C).
E. Engine Oil
The indicator will light if engine oil pressure drops
below 7 PSI (48 kPa). Stop engine immediately,
determine the cause, and correct the problem before
resuming operation.
F. Voltmeter
Indicates battery condition. During normal operation
meter should never be in the red area.
G. Hour Meter – (Diesel)
Used to time maintenance intervals or mowing
operations. The meter operates only when the
ignition key is in the "On" position.
H. Ignition Switch
Used to start the engine. Remove the ignition key
when the tractor is not in use.

Reel / 3-WD Switch
Used to engage mowers and also select two wheel
drive or three wheel drive (2-WD or 3-WD).
a. Pull the lever upward and forward to engage
clutch and engage 3-WD mode.
b. Push switch lever down to disengage clutch and
engage 2-WD mode.

J. Backlap Switch
Used for maintenance only to hone the reels and
bedknife.
Note: The switch must be in "Forward Rotation" for
normal operation. Always remove and store the key
after backlapping.
K. Parking Brake Light
Indicates that the parking brake is engaged. Parking
brake must be disengaged before depressing traction
pedal.
L. Lift/Lower Pedal
Used to lift or lower the implements. Depress top of
pedal (L
down, until implements are fully lowered then release
the pedal.
Push rear of pedal (L
Hold pedal down until implements are fully raised,
then release pedal.
M. Traction Pedal
Used to control the direction and speed of the
machine.

Slowly depress the top of the traction pedal (M

The pedal will return to neutral when released.
Do not depress traction pedal in either direction with
parking brake light (K) on.
N. Parking Brake Lever
Push up and forward to engage brake. Pull back and
down to disengage brake.
O. Hood Latch
Used to keep hoods closed.
P. Left Side Hood
Q. Right Side Hood
R. Console Latches
S. Cooling Air Intake
T. Engine Air Filter Intake
U. Light Switch - (Optional Kit)
V. Steering Console Cover
