Troubleshooting
By purchasing this Mc Crypt Club-Mixer, you have acquired a state-of-the-art product which operates reliably.
Nevertheless, problems or malfunctions may occur.
We would therefore like to describe how you can eliminate possible malfunctions:
Please observe the safety instructions!
Device does not work after the POWER switch (21) has been switched on.
•
The mains plug has not been plugged into the mains socket properly.
•
The IEC connector is not properly connected to the mains connection (40) of the device.
•
The mains socket is not supplied with power.
The mixer is turned on but no sound can be heard.
•
No input signal; check the signal source.
•
Wrong input selected; select the correct input.
•
Input level wrongly adjusted; adjust level as described under "Volume control".
•
The EFFECT switch (39) is on but no effect unit is connected to the EFFECT SEND/RECEIVE effects loop
connection (46) and the two jumper plugs are not plugged in.
No signal can be heard although the level indicator shows a signal.
•
Downstream device (amplifier) not switched on or set incorrectly.
•
The output is not connected properly or not connected at all.
There is a humming sound.
•
The record-player ground lines are not connected to grounding screw GND (50).
•
There is a ground loop between the connected devices. Connect the signal ground with special ground-insulated
cables.
