j) Using a microphone
•
The level of the microphone inputs MICROPHONE1 (3) and MIC2 (10) is set using the MIC1 and MIC2 (24)
controls.
•
The sound of the microphones is adjusted using the TREBLE (2), MID (1), and BASS (23) controls. The controls
affect both microphone connections, MICROPHONE1 (3) and MIC2 (10).
TREBLE adjusts the high frequency range.
MID adjusts the middle frequency range.
BASS adjusts the low frequency range.
Turn the controls clockwise to increase the volume of the respective frequency range, turn them anti-clockwise
to decrease the volume.
•
Use switches KILL (TREBLE) (4), KILL (MID) (5), and KILL (BASS) (27) to kill a complete frequency range for
special effects. The switches affect both microphone connections, MICROPHONE1 (3) and MIC2 (10).
•
To make a microphone announcement, put the MICROPHONE switch (25) in the ON position.
When the switch is in the TALKOVER position, you can make announcements while the volume of the other
channels is reduced. As a result, the announcement is clearer.
After the announcement, put the MICROPHONE switch (25) back in the OFF position. Now the microphones are
muted.
