Using the device
d) Level indicator
The level indicator (11) shows the level of the output signal.
The level on the level indicators should not exceed 0db permanently as otherwise the music signal can
be distorted. Signal peaks that cause the indicator to briefly light up above 0db do not pose a problem.
e) Pre-listening
Turn the HEADPHONE control (38) all the way to the left before plugging in or unplugging the
headphones, before putting on the headphones or before switching the mixer on or off. There
is a risk of damage to your hearing through excessive volume at the headphones output.
Use the CUE/PROGRAM control (36) to determine which signal is played by the headphones.
CUE position:
Only the channels selected with CUE (3), MIC CUE (26) or F/X CUE (34) are played.
PROGRAM position:
Only the output signal of the mixer is played.
f) Crossfading/mixing
You can use the crossfader (29) to crossfade/mix between the signals of two channels.
Use the two ASSIGN controls (28) to select the desired channels.
When the crossfader (29) is activated, one channel is faded out while the other channel is faded in. In centre
position, both fader channels are played equally.
g) Echo effect
Use the ECHO switch (18) to activate the ECHO effect.
ON position: effect is on
OFF position: effect is off
Use the ECHO DELAY control (19) to set the delay of the echo.
Use the ECHO REPEAT control (35) to specify how many times the echo is repeated.
Use the ECHO LEVEL control (33) to set the volume of the echo.
