b) Replacing the fuse
If you have to replace the fuse, ensure that you only use fuses of the specified type and rated current (see
"Specifications").
It is inadmissible to repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• Unplug the mains plug from the power socket and from the mains socket on the device.
• Using a suitable screwdriver, carefully lever out the fuse holder of the mains connection with the faulty fuse.
• Remove the faulty fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Carefully push the fuse holder with the new fuse back into its position at the mains connection of the device.
• Only then may you reconnect the device to the mains and put it into operation again.

Handling

• Never connect the power plug immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a warm environment.
The condensation generated could destroy the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation water has
evaporated.
• Never pull on the power cable. Only unplug it by pulling on the plug.
• Unplug the power supply if you do not use the device over a period of time.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in case of a thunderstorm.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may damage your hearing. This
is especially the case when using headphones.
